Almost three weeks after officials from Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a pan shop owner from outside the Kalina University, the varsity management yesterday suspended two officers and two clerks after the ACB found them guilty of conniving with the pan shop owner in operating a money-for-marks racket.
ACB officials had arrested Arun Munappa Salian (40), owner of Bhawani Pan Shop, on June 26. The arrest was made after he demanded Rs 65,000 from a student, who had failed her Psychology paper, to help her clear the subject during re-checking.
