A 26-year-old woman and her new born baby boy allegedly died due to the lack of basic facilities at a maternity home in Bhandup area of Mumbai.
The family of the woman and a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ex-corporator, Jagruti Patil has raised the issue claiming there was no light at the medical facility that led to the deaths. The delivery was done with the help of a torch, the family of the deceased woman claimed.
