Mumbai: 50-year-old dies after car plunges into creek

<p>The deceased lost control of the vehicle and drove straight into a creek after a biker, driving in the wrong direction, blocked his path on the Sion-Panvel highway</p>

The Sion-Panvel highway saw another death on Monday night when 50-year-old Murli Vishwanathan fell victim to reckless riding on this route. Murli Vishwanathan was driving towards Kharghar with his wife and 18-year-old daughter when a biker, driving in the wrong direction, suddenly obstructed his path. To avoid a head-on collision, Murli took a steep turn and the car plummeted into the creek between Kamothe and Kharghar around 10:30 pm
