Mumbai: Aarey cops nab hit-and-run accused after viewing hours of CCTV footage

Thanks to the indefatigable efforts of the Aarey police, the person involved in a hit-and-run incident where two forest guards were seriously injured near Lotus lake at Aarey Milk Colony on February 16 has been nabbed.
Assistant Police Inspector Rameshwar Ghuge of the Aarey police station said, “Finding the suspect was a challenge, but thanks to our team’s efforts, Mukesh Ghanshyam Yadav, a Jogeshwari resident, was arrested in connection with the hit-and-run incident. The accused was arrested under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and presented before the court, which subsequently granted him bail.”
