Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport’s Terminal 1 will, from October 25, slowly start cutting down operations for a much-needed redevelopment. The terminal is one of the oldest standing buildings at the airport.
Phased shutdown
T1 will be closed for redevelopment in a phased manner starting the 25th of October 2026, only north section of T1-B building will be taken for demolition.
