Mumbai: Youth killed, another critical after BEST bus crashes into vehicles near Plaza Cinema in Dadar

The rising number of accidents involving BEST buses has only deepened these concerns. Pedestrians, motorists and commuters alike are increasingly wary of sharing the road with buses that seem to be involved in accidents with disturbing regularity

A 22- to 25-year-old was killed and three others injured, one of them critically, after a BEST bus on Route 463/31 crashed into a car and a two-wheeler near Veer Kotwal Garden, close to Plaza Cinema in Dadar West on Monday morning.
The accident was reported at around 10.45 am, and all four victims were taken to Sion Hospital, where one was declared brought dead. Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
As per information received from Dr Randhir, Assistant Medical Officer (AMO), Sion Hospital, one unidentified male aged around 22-25 years was declared brought dead on arrival.
