Mumbai: School returns old Rs 500 notes, asks students to get new ones

You’d think that you only had to worry about the abolished currency you were left holding on to at the time the notes turned to paper at midnight. But the Amar Kor Vidyalaya in Bhandup has taken things a step further by returning the old Rs 500 notes to its class 10 students who had paid it as board exam fees and asked them to pay it again in the new currency.
