As the CoWIN app starts to function better, the BMC on Wednesday set up another vaccination centre at SevenHills Hospital for the inoculation drive of the health workers, taking the total number of centres in the city to 11, including one centre run by the state government at JJ hospital.

The BMC has decided to increase the number of centres considering the large turnout for the drive and also to reduce travel time for health workers. It will start another centre on Friday at the NESCO grounds where a jumbo COVID facility has been set up.
