The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday said that drain desilting works across the western suburbs are progressing steadily as part of its pre-monsoon preparedness plan, following an inspection by senior civic officials.

Inspection Across Key Wards

According to the BMC, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Western Suburbs) Dr. Vipin Sharma conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing drain cleaning works in H East, H West, K North, and K South wards. The inspection covered both major and minor drains, reflecting the civic body’s push to ensure efficient stormwater management ahead of the monsoon season.
