Construction work is on at about 80-100 sites in Worli, and the BMC has started painting the metal sheets, in addition to the compound walls in the area. The civic body had been doing the beautification work on its own, but now it has roped in an organisation that works with transgender people.

The painters have been transforming shabby metal sheets installed to barricade construction sites in Worli
Making Worli A+ is not just MLA Aaditya Thackeray's target, but also that of the BMC now. The civic body’s G South ward office has taken up a series of initiatives to improve the aesthetics of the area. It’s latest is the beautification of shabby metal barricades at construction sites.
