Mumbai: BMC to shut Covid-19 vaccine centres with low footfall

'We have asked the concerned ward level officers of each ward to check the number of beneficiaries in each center at the ward level. As the number of beneficiaries taking the Covid-19 vaccine has dropped, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is planning to shut Covid Vaccination Centres (CVCs) which have very low footfall.

There were 267 BMC-run CVCs in the city till February 28.
