Mumbai's Bullet Train Project: 7 companies willing to construct underground station at BKC

The bullet train project will have a 21 km long underground corridor from BKC to Kalyan Shilphata in the state of Maharashtra, of which around seven km of this underground corridor is under the Thane creek

At least seven Indian companies have shown interest for the construction of the underground station at the BKC in Mumbai for the ambitious Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor during the pre-bidding stage, officials said on Sunday.

A National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) official told IANS, "Seven Indian companies had participated in pre-bid meeting for constructing the underground station at BKC."
