Mumbai businessman Ajay Mafatlal alias Aparna (60), of Mafatlal family passed away on Saturday morning around 11.30 a.m.
He was being treated under the care of noted gastrointestinal surgeon Dr K P Balsara, at Breach Candy Hospital.

Confirming the demise, hospital sources revealed that Ajay was admitted in the surgical intensive care unit of the hospital last week and on Saturday morning, while being treated he breathed his last.
Sources close to the family informed mid-day that Ajay died due to some infection that spread in the body. The funeral is at the cremation ground near Banganga on Saturday afternoon.
