The residents of Akshay Paradise in Chembur’s Tilak Nagar, who on Tuesday discovered that a delivery rider assigned to bring food to one of the houses in the building’s A Wing urinated into his hand in the lift, and then proceeded to drink his urine, have decided not to order from the platform anymore.

While the delivery partner has been sacked, residents feel the action taken was inappropriate. The incident left a stench inside the lift, causing residents to initially think a dog had urinated and subsequently check CCTV footage, which revealed what had actually happened.
