CSMT restaurant has been built in discarded rail coach and mounted on rails; it will be open for passengers and general public, too

The restaurant-on-wheels at CSMT will be able to accommodate 40 patrons at a time
Opening up the restaurant-on-wheels set up at the Heritage Gully, opposite platform number 18, CSMT, for the public on Monday, Central Railway (CR) officials said similar outlets would also be opened up at five more places — Kurla LTT, Neral, Kalyan, Igatpuri and Lonavala.
The restaurant, which has been converted from an old rail coach, will serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The structure has been built using a discarded rail coach and mounted on rails. While the restaurant will be a multi-cuisine one, it will be open for passengers and the general public too. It will operate following all the existing COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government.
