Mumbai: Tree falls on four vehicles near Churchgate metro station, two injured

A massive tree fell on four vehicles near B-2 Metro Station and Mac Donald, opposite Kelan Bhavan in Churchgate, Mumbai, on August 17. Two people were injured in the incident, prompting the Mumbai Fire Brigade, police and BMC ward staff to launch an emergency response

Massive tree falls leaves two injured near Churchgate (Pic/Ashish Raje)

According to preliminary information from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the incident was reported to the C P Control at around 12:36 pm on August 17. The tree fell near B-2 Metro Station, Mac Donald, opposite Kelan Bhavan in the Churchgate area.

The massive tree reportedly crashed onto four vehicles, leaving two people injured. Emergency agencies, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), police and ward staff, were mobilised following the incident.
