<p>The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/water-stock-in-mumbai-lakes-shows-mixed-progress-on-thursday-23299141" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">water stock</a> in the seven reservoirs supplying drinking water to <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/mumbai-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai</a> has reached 99.32 per cent on October 3, 2023.</p>
<p>According to data released by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the water level in Tansa stands at 98.61 per cent.</p>
<p>Modak-Sagar has a water stock of 99.50 per cent, the data added.</p>
<p>The water stock in Middle Vaitarna and Bhatsa are at 98.89 per cent and 99.43 per cent, respectively.</p>

<p>Upper Vaitarna has reached 99.58 per cent, while Vihar and Tulsi reservoirs are at full capacity, holding 100 per cent of their useful water levels.</p>
<p>As of October 3, the combined volume of water in these seven lakes is recorded at 14,37,471 million liters, slightly below their total capacity of approximately 14,47,363 million liters.</p>
<p>Yesterday, on October 2, 2023, the average rainfall in the Mumbai Metropolitan area, measured from 8 am to today (October 3, 2023) at 8 am, was - Mumbai City: 0.02 mm, Eastern Suburbs: 0.04 mm, and Western Suburbs: 0.01 mm.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted generally cloudy skies over Mumbai and its suburbs. It also predicted light to moderate rain and thundershowers in the city.</p>
<p>The weather department also predicted intermittent showers throughout the day.</p>
<p>High tide is predicted at 2:04 pm, reaching a height of 4.08 meters, followed by a low tide at 8:08 pm with a depth of 0.52 meters. Additionally, tomorrow, on October 4, 2023, a high tide is expected at 03:01 am, peaking at 4.28 meters, and a low tide at 08:42 am, with a depth of 1.79 meters.</p><p>
