Mumbai civic body cracks down on illegal debris dumping, mandates tracking of C and D waste vehicles

The civic body has directed generators, developers, contractors, government agencies, transporters and facilities involved in processing, recycling, unloading or backfilling C&D waste to comply with the Mumbai Debris Control & Tracking System (MDCTS)

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a public notice making registration and tracking mandatory for all vehicles transporting construction and demolition (C and D) waste in Mumbai.
The civic body has directed generators, developers, contractors, government agencies, transporters and facilities involved in processing, recycling, unloading or backfilling C and D waste to comply with the Mumbai Debris Control & Tracking System (MDCTS).
