Mumbai civic body to issue new birth, death, marriage certificates within 3 working days; corrections to take 25 days

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has streamlined its birth, death, and marriage certificate services, with new certificates set to be issued within three working days of registration.

The civic body has also started accepting applications for birth and death registrations and corrections at Civil Facilitation Centres (CFCs) located at ward offices through the Registration of Birth & Death (RBD) portal.
