A 53-year-old man was arrested by the D N Nagar police for allegedly raping his eight-year-old daughter repeatedly. According to the police, the survivor did not understand her father’s actions and so would not complain about it.

However, the incidents finally came to light on Tuesday, after she complained to her mother of pain in her private parts. Cops said that the girl was the accused’s daughter from a second marriage, and he would take advantage of the mother’s absence whenever she went out to the market.
