75-year-old woman strangled with saree at Versova home

The police booked an unidentified person on Sunday after a 75-year-old widow was allegedly strangled to death in Versova, Andheri. The deceased Narayan Shetty, who is survived by her daughter, Manorama Shetty, was found dead at home by her relatives, a report in Hindustan Times read.
Shetty was living in a building that housed Chaitanya Hotel in Versova. Manorama said her mother owned two shops and a room, which were rented out.
