The traffic police filed a car theft complaint against a cab-driver with a private firm, who saw his car being towed away and replaced the clamped tyre with a stepney and drove off.
A report in The Times of India said that the incident happened on November 1 when the traffic police team found a Wagon R parked in the No Parking Zone and towed the car to Colaba Traffic Chowki where it was clamped and parked. Later, they found the car missing after which they filed a car theft complaint with the Azad Maidan police station.
