A drug peddler was arrested recently from <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/andheri-all" target="_blank">Andheri </a>(West) by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/mumbai-all" target="_blank">Mumbai</a> zonal unit.
The accused has been identified as Wahid Abdul Kadir Sheikh alias Sultan.
About 702.1 gram marijuana, 74.1 gram hashish and 3.1 gram Mephedrone, Rs 1,68,600 cash and an Innova car was seized from his possession.
Investigation revealed that he supplied drugs to high profile customers and had many vehicles including two wheelers. He had many youths under him to make deliveries in the Andheri area. Sheikh was taken to court and remanded to NCB custody till November 11. Further probe is on.
