History sheeter cons bank manager, dupes ornaments worth Rs 90,000

An offence was registered against two persons under IPC section 420 (cheating) and 34 (common intention).

A history-sheeter who had been cheating people for the past 20 years has been arrested by the Mulund police for cheating a bank sales manager of Rs 90,000. The incident took place on January 20th where both the accused had cheated the victim as they blamed him of eve-teasing a local resident.
On the evening of 20th January 2020, Aniket Rokade who works as a sales manager in a private bank in Mulund was waiting for a bus. A man in his 20s(Suspect 1) came to him and asked him why did he eve-tease Salim Bhai's daughter. Rokade didn’t understand what was he trying to say. He replied saying that he was not aware of any such thing. The suspect asked Rokade to come to a secluded place where a 30-year-old man (Suspect 2) approached Rokade and claimed that there is a crowd of 20-25 people who were waiting to beat Rokade up. Rokade couldn’t understand what was going on.
