Mumbai Crime: Man meets doctor online, cheats her of Rs 13 lakh

Police is on the look out for a 33-year-old man who has been accused of cheating a woman on a matrimonial website. The 31-year-old victim has alleged that the man had sent her a request on the matrimonial website in December last year and from then on, the interactions started.

The accused identified as Dilip Rajput posed as a millionaire and claimed to run real estate businesses in Dubai and Indore. He further claimed to the woman that he holds a MBA degree and lives in a plush apartment in Juhu. All these might have impressed the victim, who is a doctor and has her own clinic in Marve area of Malad.
