A 45-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday by the Charkop police in Kandivli for allegedly raping his two daughters.
According to the police, the accused had been identified as Ramesh Sharma, who used to allegedly rape his 21-year-old and 12-year-old daughters. The accused is a resident of Bhabrekar Nagar in Kandivli (west), and is a carpenter by profession.

According to the police, Sharma was allegedly raping his elder daughter from several months. The accused started this inhuman act with his younger daughter from last month, and had committed the crime several times.
When the elder daughter came to know that her father started the same with her younger sister she, along with her neighbours approached the Charkop police, who later arrested him.
According to police sources, the wife of the accused was aware about Sharma&rsquo;s activities.
