A 70-year-old man was arrested for allegedly molesting a 7-year-old school girl in Malad. According to a report by <a href="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/mumbai/70-year-old-held-for-molesting-7-year-old-girl/articleshow/54820271.cms" target="_blank">Times of India</a>, the accused molested the girl on the terrace of the building she stays with her family.
According to police sources, the man named Siddhanand Chaurasia, has been a Mumbai resident for over 35 years and does not have a criminal record.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, after which Chaurasia, a paan shop vendor, was arrested, following a complaint by the girl's parents.
Chaurasia will be in police custody till October 14, according to police sources.
