Mumbai Crime: Spurned in love, man stabs girl and himself

A one-sided love affair turned bloody when a 25-year-old man stabbed a 21-year-old girl four times and later stabbed himself on Monday evening. Both of them were rushed to Cooper Hospital and have been admitted there. The accused will be booked for attempt to murder, once he gets discharged from hospital.

The accused has been identified as Ashish Yadav, who hails from Jaunpur. The incident occurred on Monday evening, when Yadav barged into the victim’s house at Yadav Nagar in Jogeshwari. Yadav pounced upon the victim and stabbed her four times on her neck, hand and stomach.
