A large group of students who had applied for the first year LLB course at a Borivli-based institute were in for a rude shock after they were informed by the management that their admission was not confirmed as there were no seats left. Students were angry about losing out on seats after paying fees to the institute. On Tuesday, these students, along with their parents submitted a written complaint at the Borivli police station and are hoping for an FIR to be lodged against the college management at the earliest.

A huge crowd had gathered outside Nalanda College of Law, Borivali, as parents protested and demanded for their money to be returned. They also stated how the management did not release any receipts for the fees that they paid. "The management is now wagging their hands off this issue and blaming it on outsiders. How are they trying to prove that these outsiders were conducting admissions inside their campus? This obviously was not done without their knowledge and we are sure they have our money," said one of the parents.
