A 45 year-old tuition teacher has been arrested by the Charkop police for allegedly molesting his 14-year-old student every day for nearly two months. The accused would keep the student back on the pretext of extra classes and molest her, saying she was weak in academics and he would help her get a distinction.

He would touch her private parts and claim that doing so would help “open her mind”. The accused Ravi (name changed) runs tuition classes in Kandivli (W) in an area under the jurisdiction of Charkop police station. The incident came to light after the girl stopped attending the tuition classes.
