Mumbai: Cuffe Parade residents rally against BMC to save garden

A group of South Mumbai residents yesterday launched a campaign to protect open spaces from being taken over by the BMC by organising a candle light rally in the garden at Cuffe Parade.
The rally, held under the aegis of the Cuffe Parade Residents Association (CPRA), was attended by residents along with the members of the association.
BM Chaturvedi, vice chairman, CPRA, said, “Over the past 25 years, our association, along with its 5,000 members has taken the initiative to develop the CPRA GREENS garden in Cuffe Parade.
