Mumbai&rsquo;s nightlife to go viral For those of you who have been following desi webseries, there&rsquo;s a new one that might intrigue the night crawler variety. Panorama Studios, along with One Digital Entertainment, will launch a youth-centric web-series in June called Bar Code, set in the world of Mumbai&rsquo;s nightclubs.

The episodic web-series will span 10 episodes, and will be shot inside some of the city&rsquo;s nightclubs. &ldquo;Bar Code looks closely at what goes on behind the scenes in one of the most glamorous businesses in the world.
The look and feel will be upscale and chic. The treatment of the music will have an interesting mix of EDM, Bollywood and Deep House, which should connect with the youth segment across the country,&rdquo; says writer-director Vignesh Shetty. The production will begin mid-June.
&ldquo;With the current web-series space being heavily cluttered, and with most shows being imitations of one another, we were on the lookout for something that is clutter-breaking,&rdquo; says Abhishek Pathak, producer and managing director, Panorama Studios.
We&rsquo;re hoping for this one to be different from the &lsquo;youth shows&rsquo; aired on music channels a few years ago that changed their avatar into youth entertainment channels eventually.
