The Nargis Dutt Foundation is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a special art show that will feature works by 35 artists from across India. And, while the likes of Brinda Miller, Ajay De and Prakash Bal Joshi are expected to participate, the show will also see politicians Priya Dutt and Uddhav Thackeray present their works at this exhibition. The show, titled Pigment Colours with Purpose, will also display works by filmmaker Rajiv Menon and documentary photographer, Sudharak Olwe. A hundred art works will be on display at a Bandra five-star. The proceeds from its sale will be channeled towards funding cancer care and rural development work carried out by the foundation. That’s what we call art for a noble cause.
