Farewell, Mr Keki
Before OTT ruled our worlds, there were only a few channels that provided a pastime, and Dinyar Tirandaz was a familiar presence on them. His passing on Thursday cast a pall on the community of actors, and friends across the city. The actor was part of television series such as Nukkad, Zabaan Sambhal Ke, and Hip Hip Hurray as well as films like Chalte Chalte and Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya among many others. He also helmed CenterStage productions with wife, Roshan. Theatre veteran Farid Currim recalled, “He had a genial presence, and a warm laughter. He was always friendly.”
