City-based fans of K-pop boyband BTS had plenty to talk about over the weekend. A rather unexpected video posted by the band features members RM, Suga, J Hope and V asking an AI assistant to plan a &lsquo;one-day walking<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai-guide/things-to-do/articles/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"> tour of Mumbai</a> where one can enjoy hidden historical and artistic spots, and local food.&rdquo;

The recommendations feature a walk around the heritage village of Khotachiwadi, and a homely East Indian Thali. <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/korean-entertainment/article/bts-sparks-india-tour-buzz-explores-mumbai-khotachiwadi-and-food-23646059" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Mumbai&rsquo;s growing ARMY</a> (BTS fans) were quick to ride the wave, with Bandra-based chef Freny Fernandes sharing an open invitation with the band through her social media.

Ten young musicians from Breach Candy-based Sound Space are still riding the high of a Bollywood dream. The group, comprising children from low-income families, took the stage on the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati last weekend, performing alongside <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/sunidhi-chauhan-talks-about-the-music-mafia-says-i-have-not-got-money-for-many-movies-even-today-23371528" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">singer Sunidhi Chauhan</a>. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re still pinching ourselves. The opportunity was a great boost for our young students. And of course, meeting Mr Bachchan was a dream come true,&rdquo; said founders Kamakshi and Vishala Khurana. Amitabh Bachchan&rsquo;s verdict summed up the moving rendition, &ldquo;I am left speechless. I hope these children never give up singing. Music is an intrinsic part of human life. It can connect us to something larger than ourselves.&rdquo; Right on the money, Big B.&nbsp;

The new edition of the NCPA META Festival will return to the city in November with four unique productions that explore classical, folk, and contemporary forms of theatre. The festival, which opens on November 12, will bring a bold adaptation of Ernest Hemingway&rsquo;s Old Man and The Sea - Kathakali of the Morrow developed by Kalamandalam Deepak, and featuring Italian artiste and Kathakali exponent Mario Barzaghi. Another folk art, Swang finds expression in Akshay Singh Thakur&rsquo;s adaptation of Vijaydan Detha&rsquo;s Swang Jas Ki Tas. Meanwhile Suman Saha&rsquo;s Nihsango Ishwar and Victor Thoudam and Bimal Subedi&rsquo;s Departed Dawn explores war and post-war migration. It might be early, but fans of the stage might want to click into gear. &nbsp;
