When we hear the familiar cry of “My battery is down!” we sometimes wistfully remember the days of “un-smart” cellphones, which didn’t do much in terms of apps and whatnot, but which could run for days without needing a charge, picked up a signal practically anywhere, and best of all, withstood falls from the third floor or even into a ditch full of water.
