Film treat at NCPA
Film buffs have a new avenue, as well as venue, for their needs. The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in the city has launched a new monthly series of films, called NCPA-PVR Rare, picked by PVR Cinemas for their Director's Rare programme.
The first of the films will be screened on March 12 at 6.30 pm at the NCPA's Little Theatre in Nariman Point. The film is Nightcrawler (117 minutes), starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo among others. Nightcrawler is about Los Angeles denizen Louis Bloom, who survives by scavenging and petty theft, and stumbles into a new career as a cameraman.
