Otherwise, outside it will be disaster!&rdquo; he signed off in alarm. Maybe so many other Mumbaikars are thinking the same&hellip; and for sure, this time we do not hear Mumbai saying: TGIF Thank God it&rsquo;s Friday.

Avasthi is the brain behind memorable ads such as Fevicol, and while his own agency is sure to produce great work, we wonder how his departure will affect Ogilvy.

The sessions are held at the CGSI office in Block &lsquo;J&rsquo; at Azad Maidan, Mahapalika Marg, Opposite Cama Hospital.
In the latest session the consumer body settled four cases satisfactorily that of a cooking range hood&rsquo;s missing warranty, an investment scheme, a housing society&rsquo;s refund, and recovery of dues from a cooperative credit society. It&rsquo;s truly a forum for the common man.
Roaring development for animals What with all this talk of lions and tigers, euphemisms for similar roaring qualities in humans (or so we assume), it is welcome news that the African lion has been included in the list of endangered species &mdash; the last big cat to make the list, and not a day too soon.
The proposal by the US Fish and Wildlife Service would make the African lion the last big cat to receive federal protection under the Endangered Species Act. In the last two decades, lion numbers have fallen by 30 per cent, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
Several groups, including the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the Humane Society of the United States and Defenders of Wildlife, petitioned the government in 2012 to list the African lion as endangered, a category that offers more protection than the &ldquo;threatened&rdquo; designation which the lions have been given.
Tigers, leopards, cheetahs, jaguars and pumas are all listed as endangered. We hope this takes us closer to a tougher global crackdown on hunting and poaching, so we can treasure what is left of our wild, wonderful world.
