These art works inform passersby about two of the highlights of the neighbouring Dharavi &mdash; Kumbharwada and Dharavi Sports Complex. Our favourite is a simple yet humorous swimming pool artwork that madeus wish for all official signage to go the arty way.
Art and the book pile Even those who love hoarding books will be game to part with their possessions for this one. Organised by Avid Learning, Bookstallation is a community art installation drive where you can donate your old books at Kala Ghoda&rsquo;s David Sassoon Library until February 5.

Later, the books will find their way to an art installation (that doubles up as a pop-up library) at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, starting this weekend. Who knows, you may just spot your book in a selfie taken by city crowds with the installation.
HotDudesReading is now in a book! Confession time. So, the &lsquo;ooohs&rsquo; and &lsquo;aaahs&rsquo; were in full force, when the Instagram account HotDudesReading (HDR) dedicated to hot American dudes went up in February last year.

With snapshots of yummy men captured while reading their favourite paperbacks and hardbacks on their commute across New York, it was only a matter of moments before these intellectual hotties became a rage on social media. Now, we hear that a book (Simon &amp; Schuster) by the same name is ready, as buzz about pre-orders have surfaced all over.
In fact, at the time of going to press, their publishers told this diarist that they had 43.8K Twitter followers while their Facebook page had 112K; the HDR team also shared that their Instagram account had over 10K likes in 45 minutes. We&rsquo;re tempted to wonder whether such a project can become a reality in our city. Are Mumbai&rsquo;s hot dudes reading this?

All about Section 377, now on the web For all those folk opposed to the decriminalization of Section 377, here&rsquo;s something to look forward to &mdash; a web series titled All About Sec-377 will be aired on February 18. Director Amit Khanna, who will also debut in the film produced by Creative Gypsy and Weirdoze, began writing this film in October last year.

&ldquo;I had written a film in 2013, but when the ban came in 2014, the producers chickened out. Since then, I knew I wanted to make a film on the subject,&rdquo; says the 32-year-old whose film revolves around a homophobic whose roommates are a gay couple.

&ldquo;Many want to leave the issue loose, shove it under the carpet without coming to a well-defined conclusion. But I am hopeful it will be dismissed. If the judges watch the film, they will have an understanding of the subject better,&rdquo; Khanna says.
