A doctor, along with four others at a hospital in Palghar, has been arrested on Monday, April 27, for allegedly creating fake documents in the names of different medical facilities to claim insurance commissions, officials said on Monday.

As per news agency PTI, a team led by a medical officer from the Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation conducted a raid on the hospital located in the Sadi Compound area in Nalasopara on April 24. The raid was executed following directives to inspect illegal sonography and abortion centres in Maharashtra.
