Classical Marathi Language Week: Fadnavis calls for greater use of Marathi in AI, technology

Marathi should be used not only in daily life but also in modern fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum computing, space technology and biotechnology, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Saturday, calling for the language to be strengthened as a digital and knowledge language in the 21st century.
Fadnavis made the remarks while inaugurating the 'Classical Marathi Language Week' and 'Classical Marathi Language Honour Day' at Patkar Hall of Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University in Churchgate. The celebrations are being held following Marathi's recognition as a Classical Language by the Central Government.
