A 50-year-old man was seriously injured after a roadside tree branch fell on him in Mumbai’s Andheri East area on Wednesday morning amid heavy rainfall, civic officials said.

The incident occurred at around 10:12 am on July 8 near D J House on Nagardas Road, close to the Andheri subway. According to officials, the tree branch fell on pedestrian Aadesh Gaikar, leaving him injured.
