On New Year’s Eve, a large crowd gathered outside the actor’s Jalsa residence to catch a glimpse of him, as they do every weekend. Amid the chaos, Bachchan personally invited 18 people inside the bungalow to meet them. Fans speaking to mid-day expressed that this meeting was a wonderful new year gift.

Zafar Shaikh, a keymaker stationed outside Andheri Station, revealed that the actor blessed him and his family. “This encounter is a wonderful memory that I will cherish my whole life. I visit Jalsa every Sunday for the Darshan, and this was my 103rd visit,” Shaikh said.
As part of their gifts, fans like Puja Makwana and Sandhya and Santosh Parab received jackets that have enriched their memories of the actor’s TV game show. “I had the chance to take pictures with the actor. Later, he surprised me by gifting a jacket that has significance in Kaun Banega Crorepati,” Makwana shared. Sandhya Parab says she and her husband Santosh were surprised at their luck, and that the gifted jacket will forever remain a valued possession in the couple’s home.
