Mumbai: Fearing she may infect daughter, TB patient jumps off high-rise

A 33-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after jumping off from the 15th floor of the Charkop MHADA Tower, Kandivli (West), where she resided, at 7.30 am yesterday

A 33-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after jumping off from the 15th floor of the Charkop MHADA Tower, Kandivli (West), where she resided, at 7.30 am yesterday. Police said that the deceased was suffering from tuberculosis and had been depressed for the past few days. They did not find a suicide note.
