According to officials, the incident was reported to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) at around 11:45 am. Firefighters, along with police personnel and 108 ambulance services, were promptly mobilised to the spot

Flames tore through an illegal parking site in Govandi near the Ghatkopar–Mankhurd Link Road on Thursday morning, gutting a cluster of abandoned vehicles within minutes.

Fire Breaks Out, Thick Smoke Alerts Locals

The fire broke out around 11:40 am, with thick plumes of smoke drawing the attention of residents. Police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot by 11:45 am and brought the blaze under control shortly thereafter. No casualties were reported.
