Fire breaks out at Bata showroom in South Mumbai’s Crawford Market; no injuries reported

According to updates from MFB, the fire was confined to materials stored inside the Bata Showroom on the ground floor of the ground-plus-four-storey building. Smoke was seen emanating from adjacent shops, prompting rapid deployment of emergency personnel

A fire broke out late on Sunday night at the Bata Showroom located in Dwarkadas Building on Lokmanya Tilak Road at South Mumbai’s Crawford Market.
The incident was first reported at 10.26 pm by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) Fire Brigade (MFB), which initially declared it a Level-I blaze at 10.29 pm.
