Problems
Delayed bus, encroached road
Bus No. 248, the only one to Ramesh Nagar, Amboli, in Andheri West, is invariably delayed. There are huge lines at the bus stop at Andheri station and commuters get no information from officials about the delay or reasons for it. Recently, a police officer from the area was in the line and lost her cool, resulting in officials allocating another bus and renumbering it. We really need this bus as autos refuse to ply owing to it being minimum fare from either Andheri station or Ramesh Nagar. We are then left with no mode of public transport. Adding to our woes is the small lane that has bikes parked along it with an ever present garbage truck and chicken truck. Please help!
