Ganeshotsav 2026: Central Railway ticket booking centres to close after 2 pm on September 14

Central Railway’s Passenger Reservation System centres will follow Sunday working hours on September 14, 2026, for Ganeshotsav. The second shift from 2 pm to 10 pm will remain closed, while select counters will stay open for emergency services

On account of the Ganeshotsav 2026, Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centres across Central Railway will operate for half a day on Monday, September 14, 2026.

According to Central Railway, the PRS centres will follow a Sunday working pattern on the festival day. The second shift of all PRS centres will remain closed from 2 pm to 10 pm.
