Mumbai civic body launches integrated waste management system in G-South Ward; garbage collection may be disrupted for 3-4 days

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started rolling out its integrated waste collection and transportation system in Mumbai's G-South Ward, with residents of Worli, Prabhadevi and nearby areas likely to face temporary disruptions in garbage collection for the next three to four days as the civic body transitions to the new mechanism.
The BMC has appealed to citizens to cooperate during the transition, assuring that every effort is being made to restore normal waste collection services at the earliest.
