The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has made fresh registration and four-way waste segregation compulsory for bulk wet waste generators across Mumbai. At present, 4680 bulk waste generators are registered with the civic body, with the list last updated in 2025.
Fresh deadline
BMC has given housing societies, restaurants, hotels, hospitals and educational institutions 15 days to register on the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) portal.
